John Pelchen |
Chairperson John worked in the finance industry for JBWere and the Colonial Group as an investment manager for fifteen years. He now has a consultancy business that operates in various fields including property development, project management and finance. John has also worked as a volunteer in drug and alcohol rehabilitation since 2002 and serves on the boards of the Barrabool Christian Foundation and Christian College.

Colin Brown |
Secretary Colin trained as a Secondary School teacher of mathematics and science. He moved into the Principal Class in 1991 and had a range of roles including Campus Principal, Assistant Principal and College Principal up until his retirement in early 2006. Since that time Colin has been involved as an Educational Consultant in a range of areas, including School Reviews and Project Management for the Department of Education in Victoria.

Allan Mackenzie |
Treasurer After commencing his career in the trucking industry Allan trained in commerce as a mature age student. He subsequently attained his Chartered Accountant qualification and worked for a period in public accountancy which included a role as Bursar of Kings College, Warrnambool, during a period of significant growth. Allan is currently employed as Business Manager in a transport business near Geelong.

Matthew Jacoby |
Matthew is an associate pastor at Barrabool Hills Baptist Church in Geelong. Matthew is also involved with Sons of Korah, a music project focused on writing music to and performing the biblical psalms. Matthew has a doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Melbourne and is mainly involved in the teaching area of church life as well as doing some casual lecturing.

Kim Wright |
Kim has over fifteen years experience within the retail industry across roles such as Sales & Operations and Human Resources Management. She now works as a consultant for a Recruitment & Management agency in Melbourne, which also allows her the opportunity to be involved in Barrabool Hills Baptist Church and Storehouse 61 store.

Hal Bisset |
Hal is trained in science, education and theology. Over the last two decades however he has been involved in the community services sector having established and led Ecumenical Housing for 17 years. Today he provides a private consultancy service specializing in strategic and business planning and project development in the growing area of affordable housing. His clients are private developers, state and local governments and Housing Associations.
