Individual partners

We want to recruit an additional 25 members who are prepared to contribute a minimum of 3 hours per week in voluntary support We also aim to recruit 50 individuals or families who are prepared to donate $20 per month to Foundation 61 to help meet the costs of employing our wonderful staff

Business partners

We want to establish partnerships with local businesses who are prepared to contribute in-kind support such as goods (food, white goods, vehicle, machinery or materials for micro enterprises) We also aim to establish partnerships with 5 businesses each year that are prepared to contribute $3000 per annum for three years in return for the provision of Drug & Alcohol Education Programs for their staff

Community partners

We want to expand our collaborative partnerships with local community service organizations to increase access to their support services for our participants. In particular we recognize housing, health, education, training and family support programs as being relevant to our program participants We also aim to develop partnerships with 5 service clubs prepared to commit financial and volunteer support to specific construction projects on the rural property we acquire such as the gymnasium, training room, micro enterprise workshop – our target is $25,000 per year

Church partners

We aim to negotiate partnerships with 10 of the Churches of Geelong through which they will promote Foundation 61 within their congregation as a good place to provide volunteer support We also aim to convince ten of these Churches to contribute $100 per month to Foundation 61

Charitable partners

We aim to raise $800,000 from charitable trusts which will be committed to the acquisition of the rural property and the construction of facilities in which to run our programs We are also seeking $100,000 per annum for the next three years (averaged) from Trusts toward running costs while we establish the new initiatives in our strategic plan

Government partners

Foundation 61 wants to establish partnerships with relevant government departments under which they provide financial support for specific activities which meet their objectives We are also keen to link with training Universities and TAFE Colleges with whom we would like to negotiate work experience opportunities for welfare workers in training

Foundation “Storehouse 61” Shop

While the shop will be part of our program to connect with isolated and excluded women in the community we also aim to return a profit from the shop which will be invested into the Women’s Residential Rehabilitation service Our aim is to break even in the first year, return $15,000 in the second year and $12,000 in the third year We would like to identify retailers who would be prepared to provide goods for sale – discontinued lines, marked items, surplus goods

There is an opportunity here for everyone. We are ready and waiting for individuals and organisations to come forward to explore how they might get involved in this innovative and exciting new ministry.
